Greeting
In the 21st century, applications in medicine and engineering must prioritize greater safety and flexibility in order to yield better products and achieve higher efficiency. To this end, it is crucial that neuroscience and biomedical technology be integrated into both fields. This integration has given rise to a new research field called Complex Medical Engineering. To further develop this field, we have established an international society called the Institute of Complex Medical Engineering (ICME).
